Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of a Russian mother from India and an Afghan Hindu father. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. When she was 11 Annat Mahendru choreographed, and performed a dance that led to the honor of a German TV appearance. The dance included a snow maiden from Russia that transformed into an entertaining Indian dancer. Following her graduation from high school and college in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She studied acting classes with the HB Studios. However, she left to pursue improvisational comedy at The Groundlings School. Her parents were Hindu and an Indian father, Ghanshan K Mahendru and who was a Russian mother, Olga. Her parents separated when she was 13 years old and she was moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in FX's The Americans. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable television appearance. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
