Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has been leaving an imprint on the small screen. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Florida, Orlando. In Orlando, she played a range of roles including local independent films and world-wide commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love to perform even in minor roles. After 2001, she relocated from the Midwest to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's soap-opera in the role of Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. Her first big series role was on the short-lived 2004 drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. De La Garza received several nominations in the character's honor for her role, including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In 2008, she was awarded an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. The role was Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Most recent TV appearance was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's slightly darker show Do No Harm. After only two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her older sister Cory is 10 years younger than her. She grew up in an environment that was strict and very spiritual. Milano was only seven years old young when her babysitter drove Milano to an audition. She was one of the four girls selected from among thousands of hopefuls. Milano performed in television advertisements and on off-Broadway plays, among them the first American musical rendition of Jane Eyre.
